In
the printing industry there are two kinds of speed, fast and faster.
With that in mind, Sunraise built the Super 12/RC High Production
Business Card Slitter. The Super 12 is designed for
high speed production, up to 144, 000 cut business cards per
hour.
The
Super 12 is available in two models. The Super 12/RC which runs 12
up cards on 8/5" x 11" stock, and the Super 12/SGC High
Production Business Card Slitter that will cut 12 up on
stock up to 9"x 12" for jobs that print with a
1/8" bleed.
The
first pass trims the outside perimeters and cuts the stock into three
8.5"x 3.5" or 9"x 3.5"strips. The operator then
transfers 8.5" x 3.5" or 9"x 3.5" stock onto the
4-up side of the slitter, cutting up to 144,000 business cards per
hour. Both feeders can be operated simultaneously.
A
user friendly design was one of our goals, and the SUNRAISE Super 12
Slitters do not disappoint! Adjustable variable speed control,
hairline registration with single and dual adjustment mechanics and a
quick change removable knife cassette make operation simple and
efficient. The removable knife cassettes increase efficiency and
quality by ensuring a consistent finished product.
Once
the cards have been cut, the Super 12's utilize separator arms that
work with the gripper belts to keep the cut cards flowing to the
individual stacking channels. This system works with
thermographed, flat printed and even UV coated cards. Some
of our competitors use a system that works best on thermographed cards
only, allowing flat printed cards to become jammed and increase
downtime on a job.
